HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! Have everyone gotten lots of ang pau's ? This chinese new year has been really hectic for me, especially the 'da sau chu' part...mopping, sweeping, wiping tables, chairs, preparing cookies...groan! My back pain de... aiyoh...
New Year Eve
Was preparing for the once in a year thing called 'jie chai sen' also known as the 'money god' in english...it's really important to my parents as they believe it will bring lots of wealth into the family. So there we go, arranging tables, cookies, fruits, 3 cups of tea, 5 cups of wine, candles...stuff like that.. then we waited for 12 o'clock to strike as it is the best time to do it. Was chatting with my neighbours as they too couldn't sleep that early...everyone wanted to see the fireworks! 12 o'clock came...then boom! boom! there go the fireworks! however this year the 30 minute long fireworks wasn't up in the sky as someone in the family has passed away..so sorry for that uncle/auntie...
After the ceremony, my whole family went in the TV room to watch a movie...a real stupid and farnie movie..hahaha..only slept around 3 am..
1st day
Woke up at 1oam..after bathing and breakfast, went to my ah ma's house...as usual was the 1st one there...ironic...even if we reach there around 12 pm, will still be the 1st one..hehe.. when my uncle came, started gambling...he was so lucky that day, either getting 21 or black jack...every round sure have someone lose to him..stayed there till 8 pm then left for home.
2nd day
This time we were the last to arrive, hehe, like every other year..so fun to meet all my cousins...especially those from Ipoh as we hardly meet them at all.Had 'lou sang' but ended up din get to lou cause there's not enough chopsticks..then we had lunch and then..gambling again. This time i'm the chongker cause i'm the oldest there..anyway was planning to do so before reaching my grandma's house..was really lucky that day as i keep on getting either 21 or black jack or 20...even getting a 4 when i had 17...feel so bad to take their money..
had to leave at 5 cause having dinner with my father's friend..ended up staying at their house till 12 pm...oh ya...one of my cousin even followed us back that day, because she wanted to stay at our house since last year but till now only got the chance to do so..she is soooo cute! she slept at my room and keep hugging the teddy bear till she fell asleep..awww..
3rd day
Today is the day where all my cousins, auntie and uncle from my mother's side is coming to my house. It's been the tradition every chinese new year. They only arrived at 3pm because we went to visit my aunt 1st(father's side). All my cousins cramp into the TV room and watched a 'vampire' show...until I announced that those who wants to gamble pls come out..again i'm the chongker...really had fun playing with them..you know why? Because we keep on telling jokes and laughing the whole way..1 of my cousin keep on announcing the cards he had..like the time he burst, even though i did not ask him to open his card, but still he open..every round he did that..haha...but nvm la, he still young, so don't really know how to act yet..
Then later on my aunt and uncle from my father's side came to our house...luckily there were enough food for all of us..after dinner 1 by 1 left until only 2 of my cousin's family slept over..was really hyped that day. After all my younger cousins left, went to play 'jinrami' with my older cousins..played till 5am then cannot tahan de went to sleep..
Gonna go bai nian with all my friends tomorrow, this time with almost 20 people altogether, i'm sure it will be really fun! Gonna stop writing now, wanna watch anime de...see ya!

Orkidianz class dinner ! X)
Sorry everyone, I know I've been MIA for a long time, almost a month since I last updated.
Well, been busy with my OBU project for the past few weeks...whew! Almost finished the whole thing already, so can update more often now. Last dinner with my secondary school friends was on Saturday after Miss Menon's class. Location is Kayu at Chao Yang. It's been a long time since we had class dinner together, been missing them a lot, especially a few who turned up that day, it's like a few months since we last met..Nothing change, all of them still looked the same, the way they dress is the same..their hair is styled in the same way..haha!
Was supposed to meet up at 9 for Mamak session because my class ends at 8.30pm (ya..ya..it's all because of me =)- )..But, unexpectedly, Miss Menon decided to end at 6.30 that day(Har! Now only you tell me!What was I supposed to do for te 3 hours!) So ended up bugging Suan Li to have dinner with me(Thx ya!) at Kayu too! She said something that day which I didn't know.. do you know that the 1st prime minister contain the initials of all the other prime minister? Bet you didn't know! See, the 1st prime minister was Tunku Abdul RAHMAN...and in the 'RAHMAN' contains all the other prime minister...observe..R for Rahman, A for Tunku Abdul Razak, H for Tun Hussein Onn, M for Mahathir, A for Abdullah..and they are saying N for Najib..cool right!
Then met up with Wai Ee, Terence, Sueh Lung, Khai Ming, Tsing Yoong, Kuan Ting, Wilson ...and Nicole came in the end. Chatted about the normal stuff like 'how many years left for your course' , 'Where are you working' ....things like that. Then, decided to have another class trip..this time its at Genting! Woohoo..Roller coaster..here I come..decided for Tsing yoong to be the organizer and promised to keep in touch..after getting all the details he will email us and proceed from there..
Sadly, had to leave at 10.30pm because of curfew and thus missed seeing Kinz..Oh well, guessed have to have another class dinner then..haha..

Happy New Year 2008!!!
Yesterday was new year eve...thus another dinner for my family to attend. This time it's with my father's friend whom i've been going to their house for dinner every chinese new year. The dinner was at the Shangri-la hotel at KL.
Early morning, my mom woke me up and asked me whether I want to go to the hair salon. She said my sis is straightening her hair and I should probably do something with my hair too..Thus, I was dragged from my bed (no..no..no..My bed!) and went to the salon. Did my hair, head back home..then rush to take my bath, put on my dress, put makeup (only the eyes and lips) then zoom....off we go!
They had decorated the hotel with black curtains with lights on them..it's looks so romantic! Haha..it gave off a soothing and warm feeling when you see them. Then we waited for my father's friend and then we ordered. The food was so slow, it took us an hour to eat our 2 appetizers! Imagine that! And the air-cond was like freezing cold..Guess how long we had our dinner? 4 hours! My longest dinner ever!
Tadada..here comes the special part..after dinner, went to the main ballroom to countdown..5,4,3,2,1 happy new year! They release the ballons and everyone was like greeting each other HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008! then there was like pop! pop! pop! Phee! Phee! everywhere...it's so crowded and energethic!
Oh ya, almost half of the people in the room are foreigners...Man ! Can they dance! They danced non-stop! My sis and I decided to join them too! It was so much fun!
Here..want to wish everyone happy new year! Be a better person this year and may you prosper and be happy always! ^^

Food poisioning..ughh..
Yesterday was supposed to be a fun day..meeting up with old friends, watching movie, having lunch..but it all went wrong. Why? you ask me..the answer is simple..food poisioning!
The day before yesterday, went to my aunt's house and eaten plenty of seafood. Yummmy!!! My aunt purposely book the table and caught 2 fish for that lunch. She said it's for me since i haven't visited her in a long time..thx ya aunt! On the way back to her house after lunch, we pass by many stores selling coconut..yummy! So my cousin went and bought the coconuts for us to bring back home to drink.. On the way back home we were supposed to collect them.
Back home, after dinner, I urged my parents to open 1 for me, they had theirs before dinner. So gulp..gulp..gulp..such a nice refreshing coconut juice. The meat was even tender, yum..super duper nice!
The next day, went to 1U to meet up wirh my friends. Was fine when we met up but during lunch I had a really serious stomach cramp, even walking with a slight bent,reach the cinema..felt like vomiting but nothing came out. So went into the cinema and watch the show. Halfway, went to restroom and this time really vomited. Was in the restroom for a long time. Was much better after that, thus can concentrate on the movie. Thus, only watched half the movie..ish! Wasted my money!
Tada, this morning woke up, was feeling much better. Even ended up playing badminton with my neighbours..although I admit that was 1 of my worst play. Missed pratically all the balls heading towards me, and if managed to return it was out! Ish! Was like a statue there..hehe..
I admit that it hurts me to see you in pain.. praying that you will be alright..and that your knee will recover soon..please do stop if it puts a strain on your knee, for I do not wish to see you having to undergo an operation..sincerely praying for your better health..

Just finished exams on Wednesday...the p3 test was like so out of the blue..really didn't know what it was asking about, so just crap and hopefully it meets the target.The others was ok, hopefully can pass all at one go!
Been doing OBU for the last few days...for those who don't know what it is, it's a 5000 words thesis and 1500 words key skills statement.Just choose a topic, a company and write it, then it's done! Target to finish it in 3 weeks time...before classes start getting hectic again and there's no time to breath..hehe..
Anime's and Manga's...here i come! during these 2 weeks going to bombard the tv room...it's mine...whahaha..Got a drama series called' meteor garden' from Stella..2 anime's from Wan Shin..Going sing k next tuesday..maybe going to meet up with my secondary school friends..woohoo..this whole month gonna relax only! So if anyone is going anyplace, remember to call me out!
Just gonna patiently await your answer.. hopping it's going to be a yes instead of no. Me and you, is just like butter and bread, will always be together for a long time...
